Law and Order TV Series filming in astoria, queens. The shooting was taking its place over night at the well known italian restaurant trattoria l'incontro. A few movie trucks only were taking parking spots between ditmars and 21 ave. at 31 street.

N, W TRAIN ARE NOT WORKING TONIGHT

N and W trains were not working on my way home tonight. What a mess. No other services were provided and I have to walk from broadway to home, thats half an hour walk under the rain at the end of a long work day. Others were stuck waiting, 2 hours later the trains were all back running.

These delays are not new, most of the days the N,W trains are delayed, usually for technical reasons (as they pronounce), and especially between the last stop in Detmars Blvd, queens and 30th ave. A month ago a new N train started running at this lane, I don't see it anymore. Also, 2 months ago the whole line was underconstruction for a week, I didn't feel of any improvement in the operations of the trains, it even got worst.

Only after deciding to run for a president and before he announce his candidacy in an attempt to clean his past. That was smart, we wish all the candidates clean themselves and to know that nobody is above the law.

A car with a fire fighting permit to park in the street and on the same time a paper posted not permiting parking to shoot a film. Both claiming the spot, who has the right for the spot? A government official not following the rule because he works for the government? (What an irony: An official driver with fire fighting permit to park in a firefighting no parking/standing spot!!!) OR a film maker who receive permits from the municipality(who pays lots of money)?

Parking cones

The orange cone at the top of the car is to inform the driver to move his car due to an unusual activity on an alternative street side parking like : parades, construction, movie filming, etc। did you recieve any of these cones? Send us your story।

Houston street: Its been too long enough!

W. Houston st. soho,ny is been under construction for too long. It didnt end last summer. anytime soon? Before or After the summer? This year? causing noise, polution, & traffic congesions. disturbing one of the most beautiful nyc attractions.

Who let the car out? Who? Who?

Anybody knows who owns this car? either didnt know it wasn,t allowed to park the car here? didnt see any signs posted? there was a time frame & forgot to move? we would love to here back from the driver and anybody can comment।

Imagine going back to your car with this on the top of it...yes on the top. what will you say? Is it appropriate way of telling people? Did the movie maker and the city gave an alternative to facilitate finding parking spots?

This is a permit for shooting the series SOPRANOS in NY this weekend. One of many we notice in the city every other day. Cars are not allowed to park at the alternative side parking arround the shooting area. This permit was taken at one of my favorite areas in the city of NY ...SOHO between Prince st. and Broadway. Shooting movies takes sometimes days if not weeks causing congessions arround the areas where the movies been filmed. Knowing that these guys makes for us an entertaining shows. Tell us how much this affects:

Whats wrong?

There is a yellow line. In this case the car shouldnt park there. But i found that he posted a government sticker. Do u think that this is have vs. have not case? Or this doesnt apply here?
